2 held in Shooting of Young Girl

According to certain online and offline articles there have been 2 suspects arrested in a shooting which took place in Denver, Colorado where an innocent 8-year-old girl was severely wounded.
The suspects in question have been identified as Victoria Esparaza, a nineteen year old, and Daniel Lujan, who is twenty years old. The latter was arrested and booked on Monday while Esparaza was arrested Tuesday by the Denver metropolitan Police Department. Lujan is being held on a quarte million dollar bond.
The defendents in question face 4 counts each of attempted murder. Denver Police Chief Gerald Whitman has said that the 2 autos which they think were involved in the shooting yet to be located at the time of this writing.
furthermore, Chief Whitman stated that the officers in question planned to execute a search warrant at the home of Lujan who resides on East Andrews Drive.
Involved in this incident was an eight year-old girl who was identified as Sierra Moore who was on her way to her house along with her her teenage aunt at the time. Apparently the girl as well as her aunt were caught in the middle of the gunfire when Moore was shot in the abdomen. The drive by shooting happened in the vicinity of 33rd Ave and Curtis Street.
Moore was then taken to the Denver Health Medical Center and at last report was in serious but stable condition.
The Mayor John Hickenlooper had a meeting with the press and media corps and stated that he is going to put a halt to the criminal activity which has occured and it will not be teolerated for even one more day. There will not be a summer of violence according to the mayors words. In an unrelated gang battle 2 seperate gang members were shot by the Denver Police after one of the criminals shot at police officers with a shotgun. One of them died while the other was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
