Oregon Police officers Chase Bank Robbery Suspect and Several Cars are Damaged

According to information that was obtained from the County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Detective Jim Strovink, the authorities had a report of a robbery at the Sterling Savings Bank at approximately 3:04 p.m.
At approximately 3:10 p.m. the suspect’s vehicle was spotted by a part of a task force of the Clackamas County Sheriffs Department. After leaving the bank location at 14638 S.E. Sunnyside Road the police chase that ensued with the teal colored pickup truck ended up on the Interstate highway after a drama filled chase right out of the show cops.
This is when the criminals truck swerved into the on coming lane of the freeway smacking into several other motorists. This occurred after some other law enforcement vehicles joined in the chase and when an Oregon State Police vehicle bumped the rear of the vehicle in question while trying to make it turn sideways and come to a stop. The three vehicles the pickup struck was a minivan that was side swiped, a compact auto that the pickup struck head on and the trailer of an 18-wheeler.
The robbery suspect’s pickup came to a stop and the suspect exited the truck and paced toward the rear with his hands held high. This is when he was taken into custody without further incidence and he was transported to the hospital with minor injuries prior to being taken to Clackamas County lock up location. All in all, These are the type of charges that the suspect and now defendant will need the expertise of a Salem criminal defense lawyer. In fact, to find such a great
Salem criminal defense lawyer
might i recommend the fine law offices of David L. DenHartigh. he is based in Salem and can assist you with family law cases, oregon dui, personal Injury, assault and also traffic violations of various kinds. Davis is based in Salem but can assist you also if you happen to reside in the surrounding areas such as Marion County, Clakamas County, Linn County, Yamhill County, the Greater Portland metropolitan area and also the Metro-plex.

The robbery suspect was identified as Mitchell Sean Cooly aged 48, Cooly is being held on charges of bank robbery, attempting to elude police, reckless driving and parole violation according to reports.
It was reported that there were minor injuries sustained by some occupants of the three vehicles. Interstate 205 was closed in this vicinity for several hours after the chase and wrecks.
It has also been reported that Cooley has at least 23 prior convictions for robbery among the charges, which could perhaps give some justification to the vaunted three strikes and your out laws.
