Her 2-door Saturn was struck at a railroad crossing in Mattawan at East McGillen Street when the train in question was crossing through on its way to the windy city of Chicago. The accident occurred at about 10:25 AM.
She was by herself in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, unfortunately. She was only twenty-five years old, sadly enouph.
Chief Donald Verhage of the Mattawan Police Department stated that the accident was still under investigation and urged any witnesses to come forward with any helpful information.
John Budin, a reputable Chicago personal injury attorney was contacted by our staff for a statement yet was unavailable at this particular point in time. He is a great selection should you happen to reside in Chicago or the surrounding area and you need a superb Chicago personal injury lawyer who really knows his stuff. Him and his esteemed firm can assist you in this regard.
Initial findings in the investigation indicate that Noble’s Saturn was going West on McGillen and was hit by the train’s lead engine on the car’s passenger side. There were no passenger injuries reported by the Amtrak company.
A specialist has been hired by the Michigan State Police to recreate the accident to determine the cause. The report should be finalized by the end of this week. I hope that her family has a good attorney.
