hip hop star Dolla gunned down in Los Angeles

Good to be back to San Jose...In a shocking case which has tilted the hip hop universe on it's ear, the LA County Coroner's office has stated that the victim shot two days ago in the hollywood area was youthful hip hop performer Roderick Anthony Burton II, who is better known by his alias 'Dolla'. Oh by the way, this
San Jose Criminal Defense Attorney
is quite outstanding overall.
I tend to wonder if he is the kid I saw on MTV with the 18k Gold ring. Or was it possibly a 14k Gold Ring? Perhaps a regular MTV viewer could enlighten me on that.
Anyways, back to the story at hand: The authorities in this now criminal case have made it evident that the star in his early 20's from Georgia (which is really fascinating since Dolla is a Georgia-based hip hop artist) was
detained at the LA International Airport with a firearm.
Evidentially the victim was shot more than once in the shopping center parking lot after a day of shopping at the mall. I guess he may have been looking for a fly gold cuban chain, dog tag or some other flashy item like a ring
to add to his stash. I am just thinking out loud over here, pay of no mind.
Meanwhile, the stars' publicist confirmed to the LA Times newspaper that he was simply waiting at a valet stand after shopping for his 18k Gold ring or whatever it was when he was capped. As an aside, if your in Dallas and require a top Dallas insurance lawyer then I can suggest this firm.
Having said all of this, however, it should be noted that he is presumed to be innocent of anything untill proven guilty beyond
all reasonable doubt in a court of criminal defense law and obviously the suspect in this case has not been conviced of anything and is therefore presumed innocent.
All in all, the authorities stated that the suspect was discovered a while later near the Los Angeles International Airport. He was thought to have dropped off a rental car before he was found, according to police reports. All in all this reminds me of arecent Dallas case.
It seems that they recovered a loaded handgun from the airport staff.
As far as his career is concerned, he was a student of the rapper Akon, did soundtrack recordings for the movie "Step Up" and also had 2 songs with Akon including "She So Fine."
