In some sort of upbeat news in an otherwise very unfortunate accident situation in Texas: An article for the Houston Chronicle was posted on May 27, 2010 by Jeff Jenkins, Chronicle Correspondent, under the headline, After crash, game no pressure at all.
Guess a serious car crash can really put things into perspective for a girl; especially a really smart, really talented, really young, thoughtful kind of girl.
Jenkins reports that Second Baptist sophomore Christine Kharkevitch recovered from a November 2009 car accident and went on to beat the competition and win the girls singles title at the TAPPS Class 4A State Tennis Tournament in Waco last month.
Aserious car accident in November 2009 nearly ruined the blossoming tennis career of Christine Kharkevitch.
Kharkevitch was quoted as saying, “I was with two friends of my brother's. Another car ran a red light and hit us. Our car was completely T-boned. (really)..... it was quite scary.” Speaking of that, if you are in the area and you require a dedicated and veteran Houston accident lawyer
then by all means allow me to suggest the law offices of one J. Gordon. He also handles wrongful death, motorcycle and auto accident in addition to the personal injury related stuff, and he is based over in Houston, Texas as well. Now back to the principle article: Kharkevitch wore a neck brace for two months because of whiplash.
Kharkevitch said, “I was in a lot of pain. I had to go to physical therapy. It was probably even tougher on me mentally that it was physically. I was not really certain when I would play tennis again.”
The love of the game she could no longer play crystallized for the young talent. Well, I do think someone will need a good accident lawyer and i am also sure that this person can afford one as well.
