Auto and Cars News

According to the Associated Press, there has been dramatic increase in deportations of illegal immigrants after they were caught for violating traffic rules or driving under the influence of alcohol and other illegal substances. Statistics for 2010 show that current administration set a record for the number of deported illegal immigrants. About 400,000 criminal immigrants were deported last year and about 30,000 of those were arrested for DUI. That number is twice higher than four years ago.

I just returned to San Jose from Oahu, time to blog. if you are there I can endorse this top Oahu used cars
for you.In addition, about 13,000 people were forced to leave the country last year after being arrested for minor traffic offences, compared to 4,500 traffic offenders deported in 2008. Such increase in deportations of people for minor traffic violations plus 78% rise in number of people deported for immigration law violations makes some Americans skeptical. Some people believe that the Obama administration should focus on serious criminals instead of punishing minor auto and cars offenses offenders. My friend who runs a San Jose Auto Service for used cars service has confirmed these things to me as well.
Barack Obama planned in his presidential campaign to use immigration laws to get rid of the worst criminals first, and most illegal immigrants in 2010 were deported because of drug-related violations. There were about 45,000 such crimes in 2010 compared with 36,000 two years earlier. Possession of drugs has always been the number one crime among illegal immigrants. In 2010 DUI climbed to number three crime among deported illegals.
